Aged Care Agreements and Retirement Living
We are continuously reviewing agreements and leases for Aged Care facilities. Retirement Village agreements are complex and you need to ensure you understand the impact of the agreement being signed. We advise of what to look for in an Aged Care facility to ensure it meets your needs. Many people do not pay adequate attention to the agreements as they believe it will only be an issue for their estate. We find that clients often need to go into higher care facilities at some stage and this is often when they find out the agreement is an issue.
We will ensure you are adequately aware of how the agreement operates, what fees are charged and when, and ensure that you receive the maximum funds back should you be required to exit the facility.
